I've been trying to do different recipes, at least 1 new every week.  tonight is turkey meatballs, I'm also making a gravy and we are serving it with potatoes... wish me luck.  :)

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

We are having some serious snow fall yesterday and today.  Tuesday we got about 15 inches and Wednesday morning we got about 4-6 inches.  We can not keep our driveway clear at all!  The best news thigh us that the last few snowfalls have been fluffy "sledding" snow, but today is a little more we and us packing better, making it "snowman" snow... the kids are going to be so excited when they get home from school.  The pictures are of Harry right before he went out to play on the snow and Carson to show the snow line is at his knees. 

Coupon Day

I like to coupon.  I have done it of and on for a few years.  Here was this Tuesdays transaction (I covered the total so nobody judges me for my shopping).  :)  These were the bags that were left after putting away all the freezer and refrigerator food.  lots of loot!

Recycle Day

We are recyclers!  I do not like throwing away anything that can go in the recycling bin.  After this Christmas we had so many cardboard boxes and paper, I filled up mine and 3 of my neighbors blue recycling bins, it was great to see it all go!  It's funny because I could go a few weeks between the trash man picking up, but I need the recycler every time he comes!  Obviously even more some weeks.  Makes me happy to be nice to the earth.  :)
